Afternoon rafting on the river Váh: Jalšové – Hlohovec

Exploring nature from the water is an exceptional experience offered by a rafting on the old arm of river Váh in the neighbourhood of Hlohovec. It is suitable for families with children as well as for adrenaline lovers, you just need to choose a boat according to your preferences: inflatable or plastic canoe, raft or paddleboard.

The trip starts every Wednesday at 4 p.m. in the parking lot in front of Zámocká záhrada, Nábrežie A.Hlinku, Hlohovec (GPS: 48° 26′ 0″ N, 17° 48′ 12″ E). The rafting participants will then be transported by bus to the start of the cruise to Jalšové (GPS: 48° 30′ 27″ N, 17° 49′ 47″ E). The trip ends at the starting point at about 7 pm, depending on the state of the water, wind and general atmosphere.

The rafting is preceded by the essential administration, which includes the distribution of inflatable canoes, rafts, and paddleboards, as well as excellent coaching.

Stretch: Jalšové – Hlohovec
Meeting time: every Wednesday at 4 p.m.
Meeting place: Parking lot in front of Zámocká záhrada, Nábrežie A.Hlinku, Hlohovec (GPS: 48° 26′ 0″ N, 17° 48′ 12″ E)
Transfer by bus to the start of the rafting in Jalšové (GPS: 48° 30′ 27″ N, 17° 49′ 47″ E)

There will be some bureaucracy at first, with the distribution of boating equipment and vessels, as well as briefings.

At 4:30 p.m., we will leave for the water. We ashore peacefully at the finish line and hand over “clean” boating equipment.

We will end up in Hlohovec close to our cars.

Depending on the status of the water, the wind, and the overall atmosphere, we should arrive around 7 p.m.

Before boarding you will receive quality instruction. We recommend bringing a head cover, sunscreen, swimsuit, T-shirt, shorts, old sneakers, a drink, depending on the weather, and a food for a BBQ or picnic.

Discounted 15 €/ (child under 10 years accompanied by both parents 15 €)

The ticket price includes a vessel of your choice, paddles, vests, a pump, a waterproof cover, an instructor’s escort, transport within the raft (from Hlohovca to Jalšové)
